Following the successful nationwide Microsoft Teams Rooms rollout completed for One New Zealand, Evolve was engaged to deliver the AV and workplace technology fit-out for One NZ's new Daldy Street office in Auckland.

The project was delivered in close collaboration with Jon Dawson, Facilities Technology Manager at One New Zealand, and alongside STACK Interiors and multiple project partners in a fast-paced construction environment.

Daldy Street represented the next chapter in Evolve's ongoing relationship with One New Zealand. With the nationwide meeting room technology rollout already delivered, the brief for this project was to take everything learned at scale and apply it to a single flagship workplace — designed from the ground up around modern hybrid collaboration.

The scope covered the full design, integration, and installation of the workplace's AV and digital communication systems. Every meeting space, every shared screen, every collaboration zone was planned to support how One NZ's teams actually work — across hybrid meetings, flexible spaces, and the day-to-day rhythm of a modern head office.
The standout element of the fit-out is the Aurora transparent LED video wall, installed directly onto the glazing system. The result is a visually striking digital feature that preserves the architectural openness of the space — light still moves through the glass, the room still feels open, and the wall comes alive when it needs to.

It's the kind of install that only works when the AV design is integrated with the architecture from day one, not retrofitted after the build.
Across the workplace, 48 HP Poly Microsoft Teams Rooms were deployed — every one of them set up to the same standard, with the same user experience. Whether a staff member is in a four-person huddle room or a full boardroom, the way they connect, share content, and join a meeting is identical.

Single-cable meeting room connectivity supports content sharing, BYOD, and laptop charging from one connection — eliminating the cable clutter and adapter chaos that slows down the start of every meeting in a typical workplace.
A Samsung commercial display network was installed across 28 media points throughout the office, integrated with a centralised digital signage platform. The system gives One New Zealand a flexible communication layer across the workplace — from wayfinding and meeting room scheduling to internal communications and brand content.
The full scope — AV design, structured cabling, Teams Rooms deployment, digital signage, video wall installation, and commissioning — was delivered by Evolve's in-house team as a single coordinated package. One project plan, one accountable team, one point of contact across every stage of installation and handover.

For a fast-paced construction environment running alongside multiple other trades, that integration was the difference between delays and on-time delivery.
The completed Daldy Street fit-out delivers a future-focused workplace technology environment aligned with One New Zealand's evolving workplace strategy. Hybrid collaboration is supported by default. The technology fades into the background until it's needed. And the systems can scale and adapt as the way teams work continues to change.
