As part of Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Auckland's new office fit-out, Evolve was engaged to design, install, commission, and support the integrated AV and collaboration technology throughout the workspace.
Working closely with the wider fit-out team, we delivered a complete solution across meeting rooms, presentation spaces, collaboration areas, and shared environments — every space designed to support both in-room and hybrid collaboration from day one.
The brief was straightforward in ambition: a workplace that could move between small team meetings, internal presentations, and company-wide events without anyone needing to think about the technology.
The scope covered design, integration, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support — across meeting rooms, presentation spaces, collaboration zones, and shared environments. Every space was planned around Microsoft Teams as the collaboration platform, with in-room and hybrid users treated as equal participants in every meeting.

Three large meeting rooms were designed with operable walls, allowing each space to operate independently for separate meetings, or combine into a single presentation environment when the business needs to gather a larger group.
The AV system was engineered to follow the room configuration — audio zoning, video distribution, microphone coverage, and display routing all adapt depending on whether the rooms are running independently or combined. The result is a flexible workplace footprint that doesn't compromise on meeting experience at any scale.

A dedicated Town Hall space was developed for larger internal events and company-wide meetings — built with voice reinforcement, wireless handheld and lapel microphones, distributed video, and full presentation capabilities.
The environment supports everything from internal town halls and all-staff updates to formal presentations and training sessions, with audio coverage and video distribution tuned to make every participant — in the room or joining remotely — feel part of the event.

The audio, control, and DSP platform was built on Q-SYS — a professional-grade system that handles the audio processing, control logic, and room combine functionality across the workspace.
