The space retains its industrial character through high ceilings, exposed structure, and open volumes - softened by timber panelling, glazed tiles, soft furnishings, and natural textures. Lighting plays a central role in balancing these elements, creating a cohesive atmosphere that feels both expansive and intimate.

Evolve's brief was to deliver the integrated technology and electrical layer that supports a busy all-day hospitality venue without compromising the architectural intent - every system planned, coordinated, and installed to disappear into the design until it's needed.

Lighting that transitions from breakfast to evening service.

The lighting scheme was designed to transition seamlessly throughout the day, supporting the venue's evolution from a bright breakfast setting to a more intimate evening dining and events space.

Bespoke handblown pendant lights were installed as feature elements, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space. Warm-toned luminaires provide an even distribution of light across the dining area, establishing a welcoming and comfortable environment. Table lamps at point-of-sale stations and wall-mounted shades reinforce the homely feel while introducing softer, ambient lighting as the day progresses.

Concealed LED lighting was integrated into the bar area to highlight architectural finishes and enhance the overall visual atmosphere - a quiet detail that adds depth without drawing attention to the source.

Indoor-outdoor flow, year-round.

The alfresco dining areas were supported with exterior lighting and integrated heating to maximise year-round usability and customer comfort, extending the venue's operating environment beyond the indoor footprint.

The infrastructure behind the experience.

Alongside the lighting and electrical fit-out, Evolve delivered the venue's structured cabling, data services, and point-of-sale infrastructure - the operational layer that supports day-to-day hospitality service.

Distributed audio was installed throughout the venue to provide consistent background music coverage across dining and bar areas, tuned to maintain the relaxed atmosphere of the space without intruding on conversation.

Commercial display screens were integrated through selected areas of the venue, allowing the team to display live sport, entertainment, promotional content, and event coverage - installed with the same architectural consideration as the rest of the fit-out, so the screens read as part of the space rather than additions to it.
